Put simply, the patented flashID® Emergency Identification System™ comprises two components. First is a USB device designed to be carried on the person, whether attached to a key ring, on a chain or lanyard around the neck like an item of jewellery, or simply carried in the pocket, purse or hand bag. Alternatively, it is available built into a handsome watch, or a handy-sized card to fit in a wallet or purse alongside driver's licence, credit cards, etc. Second is the Emergency Identification Document, which is a simple Microsoft Word file embedded in the device, containing as much personal and medical information as its owner desires. Presented in the internationally recognised emergency green, all flashID models carry a distinctive white cross against a green background for immediate identification by emergency services workers.
Why have
flashID?
The Medical Profession has recognised for some time the importance of emergency identification schemes. Indeed this was the subject of a paper published in the Emergency Medicine Journal, a publication of the British Association for Accident & Emergency Medicine. More... Many and
